What is the privacy shield system?

Kangaroo's privacy shield system is comprised of multiple hardware and software systems that work in tandem to secure your home.  In addition to our firmware and software safeguards, the onboard microphone is physically tied to the privacy shield system.  Whenever the shield is active, there is no possibility that anyone can listen in.
