Your Kangaroo security system only works with a Bluetooth connection to your phone. The pairing process is essentially the same for every product, and you can pair more as you add more!

***Have your WiFi name and password at the ready**

  1. MAKE SURE YOUR BLUETOOTH IS TURNED ON.

Usually it is automatically turned on. If it's not, you'll see the below screen, which means you need to go to Settings on your phone, then tap the Bluetooth section, and make switch it to ON.

2. CONNECT TO WIFI.

This is where that WiFi info comes into play! If you don't have your information at the ready, you may be able to find it on top of your cable box, in the original paperwork provided to you by the provider, or online by logging into your cable account.

If you cannot find your WiFi information: you will need to call your provider and have them give you the info.

3. PULL OUT THE LITTLE YELLOW TAB IN YOUR DEVICE.

This activates the batteries. The app will instruct you to do so, and the video below shows you what exactly that means. Then click the blue button that says "Find Devices".

After a few moments, your security device should begin rapidly flashing a little blue light.

4. PRESS THE BLUE ARROW. THAT'S IT!

Your sensor will begin pairing, providing you with a status bar. It should take no longer than a few moments. Once the sensor has successfully paired, tap the blue button that says "Mount Your Sensor". This will walk you through the mounting recommendations.

If you need more help mounting, you can find that here.
