Why does each of the Plans have a certain limitation on the number of cameras linked to them?

Here at Kangaroo, we give you endless options to choose which Plan best suits your needs and your Kangaroo devices. Just in case you are wondering,

Basic Plan - Covers up to 5 cameras, any additional cameras will need to be linked to a subscription. 
Cam Protect Plan - covers 1 camera. You can purchase up to 3 Cam Protect Plans.
Complete Protect Plan - Covers up to 3 cameras. If you have more than 3, you can use them on a Basic plan or add on a Cam Protect Plan.

But why is it that we have these kinds of limitations?

The Kangaroo App provides free cloud storage for storing photos and videos from the cameras connected to your account. However, if you have more than 5 cameras, we need to charge a small fee to cover the cost of the additional cloud storage.

Having a large number of cameras also means it is important for you to have access to premium features such as person detection and motion detection zones, which help you manage your alerts and only surface the most important ones. The paid plan also allows you to keep your media for a longer period of time.

Additionally, the Complete Protect Plan includes Professional Monitoring, which provides even more assistance in managing your alerts and means you don’t have to constantly check each device.
