There are 3 ways on how to arm and disarm your Kangaroo System.
A. With the Kangaroo App
1. Open the Kangaroo App
2. The three buttons from the homescreen means:Disarms the entire Kangaroo system
(no alarms nor alerts whenever motions, entries or exits will be detected by your sensors)
Arms only Windows + Doors
(only entries and exits will be monitored) Arms the entire Kangaroo system
(motions, entries and exits from all your sensors will be monitored)
3. If you wish to arm your entire system, press on
Wait for the 3 minute countdown to finish.
4. To disarm your system using the Kangaroo App, just press on
Instantly disarms your system without countdown and PIN
B. With the Kangaroo Siren + Keypad
1. To arm the system, press on
Wait for the 3 minute countdown to finish to fully arm the home.
To arm just the Windows + Doors, press on
2. To disarm, press on
C. With the KangaRoo Tags
1. To arm the system, just tap the Roo Tag on your Siren + Keypad.
Make sure to pair your Roo Tags first before using them to arm your system. Your tag will not arm your home in the Arm-Doors & Windows mode.
2. To disarm the system, just tap the Roo Tag on your Siren + Keypad.
You can use any of your Roo Tags in disarming your home -- not necessarily the Roo Tag you used to arm it.
D. With Alexa
To Arm:
“Alexa, ask Kangaroo to arm-home.”
“Alexa, ask Kangaroo to arm windows and doors.”
To Disarm:
“Alexa, ask Kangaroo to disarm home with PIN ••••”
E. With Google Home
To Arm:
“Talk to Kangaroo Security to arm home.”
“Talk to Kangaroo Security to arm windows and doors.”
To Disarm:
“Talk to Kangaroo Security to disarm home with PIN ••••"
**optional if you have Alexa and Google Home. These options are only possible if you have successfully set up these integrations in-App and if you have motion, motion + entry sensors, privacy camera and indoor + outdoor camera linked to security.
