How to use the person detection feature

If person detection is on, your camera will only respond when a person is detected, this is valuable for reducing false alarms. Your camera can detect a person up to 26ft away.

If your camera has link to arming modes on:

You can turn Person detection on for alerts and event recordings.

1. Tap Customize
2. Tap "Alerts"
3. Select Person Detection
4. Tap "Event Recording"
5. Select Person Detection

If your camera has link to arming modes off:

You can turn Person detection on for notifications and event recordings.

1. Tap Notification
2. Select Person Detection
3. Tap Event Recording
4. Select Person Detection

Privacy:

Person detection is processed entirely by your camera, videos are never analyzed in the cloud.
