How to use sound detection? (with video)

One of the best features of the Indoor + Outdoor Camera is to also detect sounds. When sound detection is on, the camera will listen for loud disruptive sounds that may be in or outside of the cameras view.

Step 1. Open the settings of your Indoor + Outdoor Camera.

Step 2. Tap on "Alerts"

Step 3. Turn on "Detects sound"

Step 4. Tap on "Event recording"
Go back to the list of settings of your Indoor + Outdoor camera and look for "Event recording".

Step 5. Turn on "Detects sound"

**Turning on sound detection under Alerts alone will only send alerts to your Kangaroo App whenever a sound is detected but will not record any videos during the event. So, make sure to also enable sound detection under Event recording.
