The main difference is that when paired with an Indoor + Outdoor Cam, you get to unlock a whole bunch of camera features that are not included with the device with a Basic plan. Some of those features are access to full length videos, Two-Way Audio, Person Detection, Zone Detection, and Sound Detection.

Have the free plan with door bell and camera. I wantthe two way so when I see something wrong at my door I can talk to the person on my camera letting them know that I see them .But my door bell camera is always going off line
