Yes! Like all of our other devices, the Video Doorbell Camera needs to be always connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection in order to function well.
When trying to connect your device during the pairing process, make sure you choose 2.4GHz only and not 5GHz as our devices are only capable on connecting to the latter Wi-Fi bandwidth.
NOTE: When outside and needs to check on your home, you can connect your mobile phone to data or an outside Wi-Fi. Make sure that the Wi-Fi linked to your Kangaroo devices though are working perfectly fine.
