Yes! Hardwiring the doorbell sounds intimidating, but it’s simple and we will walk you through it step-by-step. Here are some tips on how-to!
1. Fully-charge the Video Doorbell Camera first.
Before hardwiring the device completely, use the adapter and the cable that came in the package to fully charge the camera. This may take a maximum of 4 hours (only during initial setup).
2. Check the AC Voltage
While the Video Doorbell Camera charges to its maximum, kindly check the AC Voltage. Make sure that power has been turned off from the breaker box to avoid any electrocutions. Usually, there is a “Doorbell Transformer” where you can see the specifications of your AC Voltage printed on the sides. We recommend 12-16 VAC, 50/60Hz, maximum of 8VA.
3. Hardwire the device.
