Are you having a hard time loading your video doorbell camera’s live stream? Is your live stream stuck or loading slowly?
Usually, viewing the live stream takes around 10-30 seconds upon pulling up. There might be issues loading the live stream if your video doorbell camera was on sleep mode and eventually viewing it. Also if there are issues on your internet connection, the live stream might also load up slowly.
Though this issue can be resolved easily, here are the steps to try out on your end:
Step 1. Exit from the App and check the internet speed.
From the live stream screen, exit from the Kangaroo application. Open a browser and go to fast.com to check the internet speed of your Wi-Fi. Minimum speed should be at 2mbps for the live stream to load up.
Step 2. Press the Doorbell button.
It might be that the live stream is loading slowly because the video doorbell camera went to sleep mode to save up the battery since it was not detecting any motions at that moment. Pressing the Doorbell button once “wakes up” the device.
Step 3. View the live stream.
After doing the first 2 steps, try to open the kangaroo App, choose the name of your video doorbell camera and click on “live” and check if the live stream already loads up better than it used to in the first place.
