Are you having a hard time scanning the QR Code during the pairing process of your Indoor + Outdoor Camera? Not hearing a Chime during the QR Code scanning?
Step 1. Make sure the phone’s brightness is at its maximum and the screen is wiped clean – without any dust or fingerprints.
In order for the Indoor + Outdoor Camera to scan the QR Code correctly, the phone’s screen should be clean and clear. A dark and smudged screen won’t be read correctly by the camera and will have issues scanning the QR Code.
Step 2. Place the camera and the phone on a flat surface, 10 - 20 inches distance in between them should be observed.
Make sure that the Indoor + Outdoor Camera is facing the QR Code shown on the phone. Holding the IO Cam and moving it back and forth in front of the QR Code also helps to refocus and scan the QR Code.
Step 3. Patiently wait for the Indoor + Outdoor Camera to Chime.
If the QR Code was scanned correctly with the aforementioned steps followed thoroughly, a chime will be heard. If no Chime, redo Step 2.
If issue still persists, kindly take a video on how the QR Code scanning process is being done on your end and escalate to one of our Support GuRoos by contacting us.

My code on the camera is very badly damaged. Is there any way to otherwise make it work?
My QR code is missing. How else can I pair
Hi there Gladys Lanier! If there's no QR Code along the pairing process, you might be pairing a Doorbell Camera instead. Kindly check on the box of the device what's the name you have on your end. If you have the Doorbell Camera, kindly check on this FAQ link for better assistance or you may reach our helpful GuRoos for pairing process.
